Xero 2022 Fall/Winter Collection

Updated: Nov 17, 2022

Xero is one of the leading brands in creating what the barefoot community is actually looking for. Just earlier this year they created a much needed rain boot along with upgraded models of a lot of their shoes and this fall they once again delivered. What we have been also really enjoying is just how normal looking their models have been. I'm not sure how they do it, but besides the Xero branding it's hard to tell the difference between some of their newer models and non-barefoot shoes!

They feature a niche lifting shoe, another running shoe, this time perfected, upgraded versions of their mesa trail and some new leather styles for their beloved Denver and Prio. So without further ado, let's live life feet first and show them off!

Xero Denver Leather

Xero took their beloved Denver model and added a water repellent leather touch to it along with adding heat reflecting, waterproofing, and added warmth. What I love about this boot is how normal it looks. It's just so subtly barefoot but still flexible as ever and with a nice wide toe box. Despite being a fashionable boot it has quite a grippy sole so I am keen to test it out and about on rainy days and even short hikes. It comes in black and brown.

Xero Prio Suede

It's the same Prio you know and love just with a sweet suede leather finish. It is available in a wide variety of colors and adds a nice aesthetic to one of their most popular shoes. Even though it is a sneaker it has a certain elegance to it which can allow you to run and make the movie while still giving you the elegance out on that date night. It comes in six different colors including the black as seen above and moonlight blue, quiet grey, steel grey for men and in quiet grey and black for women.

Forza Trainer

This is one of the more unique releases in this round. It is very similar to a weightlifting shoe, just obviously without the elevated heel, with a nice Velcro strap to tighten the shoe to your foot and molded side walls that really mold the shoe to your foot for all your gym needs. The sole is somehow hard and rigid but still flexible making it perfect for olympic weightlifting or box jumps and the like. In Men's they come in a grey/red/black, and in women's they come in elderberry (as seen above), black and a white/scuba blue combo.

Forza runner

Xero definitely specializes in running shoes but this one is different. It kind of feels like a sock, and with no tongue to worry about it really has a slip on and sock-like feel, it also is moisture wicking, which means that the no-sock lovers can rejoice, and a tire-like tread that will grip the road like nothing else. In fact once I put these on I didn't want to take them off which is quite rare for me, as someone who loves being barefoot. They come in black, white/black and white as well as one additional color of blue/sulphur as pictured above.

Sizing: US Men's : 6.5-13, 14, 15 US Women's: 5-12 EU Men's: 39.5-46, 47, 48 EU Women's: 35.5-42.5 (whole/half)

They also released an upgraded version of the Mesa Trail wich includes a thinner, tougher and more durable toe cap and sidewall welding.

There were plans to release a waterproof Mesa Trail but it looks like it will only be released next year instead.

That's all for Xero's New collection and we can't wait to to see what they have up their sleeve or foot next year.
